Six. Not twelve, not twenty.

Renata’s count of the other studios in Denver: twelve to twenty people to a class. Here the cap is six, and it does not move — it is the whole reason the instruction can be personal.

Four reformers. Three instructors, all of them licensed physical therapists or certified rehab specialists.

Six people per class here, compared with twelve to twenty at a typical studio HERE six A TYPICAL DENVER STUDIO 12–20

Four reformers, cream walls, natural light, never more than six of you.

What an hour here is actually like

You are set up personally. Complete beginners start in the same class as everyone else — with six people in the room, the instructor puts you on the machine and stays with you through the first exercises.

Exercises are modified as the class runs. Tight hips, an old injury, a core that does not feel like yours yet. You do not have to explain yourself first.

Cues come from clinical training. When something feels wrong you get an anatomical answer, not a line from a script.

We teach movement, adapted to your body. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions — if something needs a clinician first, we will say so.

I have a fused L4-L5 and every other Pilates studio in Denver made me nervous to even ask questions. Renata modified three exercises for me in my very first class without me even having to explain much — she just watched how I moved.

Pilates certification is the floor here, not the ceiling.

Renata spent eight years as a physical therapist before opening Solstice in 2022. Both other instructors are licensed PTs or certified rehab specialists.

It is the difference between an instructor who can cue an exercise and one who can tell you why your lower back locks up when you do it.

Six months postpartum and my core felt like it belonged to someone else. Small class size means the instructor actually watches your form the whole hour, not just the first five minutes.

Before your first class

I have never used a reformer. Will I be behind?

No. The instructor sets you up on the machine personally and stays with you through the first exercises. Beginners are not put in a separate class, because there is no crowd to get lost in.

I am coming back after an injury or a pregnancy.

That is most of who trains here. Tell us what is going on when you arrive and the exercises get modified for you as the class runs.

What does it cost after the $10 trial?

Class packs and memberships are listed on our Mindbody schedule, which is always current. Take the trial first — it answers more than a price list will.

What should I bring?

Grippy socks and clothes you can move in. Everything else is here.

Where are you?

The Highlands neighborhood in Denver. One studio — there is no second location.

Your first class is $10.

One hour, six people, an instructor who watches how you move. Much easier to feel than to read about.
